Congratulations to one of our members, Craig Sherman, and his team on their impressive performance at the Provincial Vision Impaired Curling Championships that was held in London, Ontario on Saturday, March 16th.  Team Pike defeated teams from London (7-4), Ottawa (7-6), and Toronto 1 (5-1). It's wonderful to hear that their success has earned them a spot in the Nationals next year.

Hello Tam Curlers,

It was January and the call for registrations was sung
It was time to sign up for the spiel called the Ross Ellis / Jim Young
In came the emails to register for it
This Bonspiel for many GTA clubs was surely a hit
Whitby, Oshawa, East York, Toronto Police and Tam Heather
And even Team Johnson from Sutton drove this time in good weather
We had great sponsorships from Del Manor, Connect Hearing, Integra and Goldline
That made our Cash and Draw Prizes look mighty fine
Oh yes there were also Broom Heads from Jimmy McMillan
And a Tam Heather Goodie Certificate from George LeBlond to also fill in
The day was full of good food, great curling and FUN
And many games very closely on the final rocks they were won
In the end lots of curlers won Draw Prizes galore
And everyone was awarded a cash envelope and much more
Oh yes there were the 2 Championship Teams
With some very familiar names it seems
Team Dave Mol and Team Tony Baker
Who ended up having the best Team Shotmaker
The Trophy Winners announcement came with clapping, cheering and even a PIPE - IN
To congratulate each of the two teams on their wonderful win
A HUGE thank you to all who supported the day
And then off everyone went happily on their way
We wish everyone an enjoyable and safe home drive
And hope to see everyone back next Wednesday, March 26, 2025 !!!!!
