Want to work on improving your game, get in some extra practice, meet new people or just want to have fun? Then our Women’s Monday Individual Entry league is just for you!

The league curls Mondays from 7:00 to 9:00 pm (no late games) with a focus on having fun and curling development. We’ve been fortunate to have mentors out assisting with game questions from the backboards, as well as Monday night Skips and Vices providing tips and guidance to members in new positions. The Stick Clinic on November 7 was a great success with a dozen participants and we hope to offer additional mentoring/clinics as needed.

Our next draw starts on December 5 with a Fun Night December 19. If you are interested in joining this league, contact the office to confirm your participation and advise This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. by November 30.

This notice is a quick reminder to all members regarding the importance of not tracking road salt onto the curling ice in the coming months. Any salt that makes contact with the curling ice will cause damage to the playing surface.

For this reason, we ask that no curling shoes be worn when travelling up and/or down the east staircase. In addition, we ask that no outdoor shoes be worn going up and/or down the stairs leading to the ice arena.

Thanks for your cooperation and understanding,

Tickets can be bought at the Tam office Monday to Friday 10am to 5pm or by contacting This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

Thank you for participating in the recent survey regarding gratuity amount/method for services at the club.

The Tam Fam spoke and the results of the survey are in favour of moving forward with members choosing their own gratuity amounts for each individual transaction at this time.

We thank you for your valued input and opinion.

Thanks to everyone who has generously donated winter clothing for the Ukrainian Refugees. Your support has been overwhelming!

    Club Information

Tam Heather, or the “Tam” as we call it, is an active friendly club located in the Morningside and 401 community of Scarborough. Tam Heather opened in 1973 as a curling club with eight sheets of ice, then two years later in 1975, the club expanded by adding five tennis courts, three of which were covered in the winter with a bubble. Thirty four years later, in 2009, a four court year-round covered structure was built.
