Want to work on improving your game, get in some extra practice, meet new people or just want to have fun? Then our Women’s Monday Individual Entry league is just for you!

The league curls Mondays from 7:00 to 9:00 pm (no late games) with a focus on having fun and curling development. We’ve been fortunate to have mentors out assisting with game questions from the backboards, as well as Monday night Skips and Vices providing tips and guidance to members in new positions. The Stick Clinic on November 7 was a great success with a dozen participants and we hope to offer additional mentoring/clinics as needed.

This notice is a quick reminder to all members regarding the importance of not tracking road salt onto the curling ice in the coming months. Any salt that makes contact with the curling ice will cause damage to the playing surface.

For this reason, we ask that no curling shoes be worn when travelling up and/or down the east staircase. In addition, we ask that no outdoor shoes be worn going up and/or down the stairs leading to the ice arena.

Tam Heather will no longer be able to offer the service of filling reusable water bottles or giving out plastic cups of water at the bar.

Please bring your own pre-filled reusable water bottle and use the water refilling station out in the ice arena between sheets D & E at the home end, as required.

Bottles of water can be purchased at the bar or the vending machine in the tennis bubble, at a cost of $2.00.
