2024-2025 Tennis Registration Information

Hello Tam Heather Tennis Members,

We hope this message finds you eagerly anticipating another exciting Tennis season here at Tam Heather! As we gear up for the 2024-25 Tennis season, we have some important registration details to share with you.

After careful consideration and approval by the Board, Tam Heather will no longer be offering a winter-only membership. Instead, we will offer the following membership options:

Annual Membership:

This membership term will be available May 1, 2024 to April 30, 2025.

Annual members will have the benefit of using the Tam Heather tennis courts throughout the entire year, with no court fees during the summer months (May 1, 2024 to September 30, 2024).

With tennis membership reaching an all-time high and a substantial waitlist of over 100 individuals, these changes aim to streamline our membership offerings and better accommodate the needs of our members.

Summer-Only Membership:

For those who prefer a seasonal membership, the summer-only option will be available.

If this option is taken, last day of summer membership would be September 30, 2024.

Membership Cap and Registration Process:

Membership for 2023-24 season was over the recommended capacity.

The Board has approved a hard-set capacity limit of 420 members for the upcoming season. 

No Exceptions.  This current season we were over the recommended capacity of 420 by 35 members which has contributed to the lack of court availability.

Returning members have exclusive registration access until April 30th.

If the cap is not reached by April 30th, registration will open to our waiting list.

Registration will be accepted on a first-come, first-served paid basis.

League Tryouts:

To participate in league tryouts, registration and payment must be completed by April 30th.

Registration for each specific tryout is mandatory, with No Exemptions.

Tryouts for closed leagues will take place in early May this year, not September as in previous years. Click Tryouts 2024/5 to see the leagues and tryout schedules. Signup for Leagues will become active once registration begins.

League Registration:

Following the completion of closed league tryouts, registration for open leagues (date TBD) will begin.

These measures are implemented to ensure fairness, optimize court availability, and streamline the registration process. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.

Capital Levy is incorporated into the membership fee schedule

Students must provide proof of current season enrollment (19 to 30 years of age)

All Memberships MUST have a valid credit card on file for pre-authorized court billings
