Season Welcome & Updates

Damiano & Neil from the Tam Heather Kitchen welcome back all Members — and extend a warm greeting to our New Members — as we kick off the 2026/27 Curling & Tennis Season. Whether you’re coming off the ice or stepping off the court, we’re ready to serve and can’t wait to share good food, good company, and a fantastic season ahead.

GREAT NEWS— the Window Café Menu now includes new healthier options.

Enjoy fresh choices such as:

  • Caesar or Garden Salad topped with a Chicken Breast
  • Garden Salad topped with Grilled Salmon
  • Julienne Salad — Ham, turkey, egg, and cheese served over a fresh garden salad

We’ve also added a few tasty favorites:

  • Onion Rings
  • Sweet Potato Fries

Enjoy them on their own or add them as a side to any sandwich or burger.

Stop by and discover our full menu board featuring:  Breakfast, Lunch, Soups, Baked Goods, Teas, Coffee & Juices.

Our Sunday Dinners return this season with exciting Theme Nights, including:

  • Athens Night
  • Bavarian Night
  • Italian Pasta Bar
  • Surf & Turf
  • Taste of Shanghai.

Jason, our Club Manager, will be posting current and upcoming themes and dates on the Tam Heather website, so check in regularly to stay updated.

Club Information

Tam Heather, or the “Tam” as we call it, is an active friendly club located in the Morningside and 401 community of Scarborough. Tam Heather opened in 1973 as a curling club with eight sheets of ice, then two years later in 1975, the club expanded by adding five tennis courts, three of which were covered in the winter with a bubble. Thirty four years later, in 2009, a four court year-round covered structure was built.
