We are excited to share a wonderful update from our Little Rocks program!
At the end of January, one of our young curlers had the incredible opportunity to participate in the Hit, Draw, Tap Challenge at the Scotties Tournament of Hearts! It was an unforgettable experience, made even more special when she won a signed jersey from Scott Howard. What an amazing memory and achievement!
At the beginning of February, 4 of our boys traveled to Oakville to compete in a U12 bonspiel. We are so proud of our Tam Heather boys! They came out strong, finishing tied for 1st after their opening game. Their second game was a real nail-biter — they fought hard and ultimately placed 3rd overall in the U12 division, losing by just one point. It was incredibly exciting to watch and a fantastic display of teamwork.
We also want to remind everyone that our own Little Rock Bonspiel is coming up on Saturday, March 7. We look forward to hosting another great day of curling and supporting the development of our young athletes. The focus of our event is always on FUN! We are currently full with a waiting list! We are so excited to throw an unforgettable event for our future stars.
