As we look forward to celebrating Easter on April 9th now more than ever many people continue to struggle to put food on the table for their families. I am asking the members of Tam Heather to consider donating non-perishable items to the food bank.

Let us show our usual generosity and love through this outreach to our community and especially to those who are less fortunate than ourselves.  The donation bins will be located in the Women and Mens change rooms from Thursday March 9th to Tuesday until March 22nd, 2023.

Needed: - Non perishable goods and in particular the following:

  • Flour
  • Salt
  • Sugar
  • Cooking oils
  • Rice

They have also need for Spices such as

Club Information

Tam Heather, or the “Tam” as we call it, is an active friendly club located in the Morningside and 401 community of Scarborough. Tam Heather opened in 1973 as a curling club with eight sheets of ice, then two years later in 1975, the club expanded by adding five tennis courts, three of which were covered in the winter with a bubble. Thirty four years later, in 2009, a four court year-round covered structure was built.
