We will continue to follow the Public Health guidelines and Provincial guidance as we move forward. Please do what makes YOU comfortable! Some members may choose to continue masking and some members will not, both are acceptable, let’s be kind and respectful to each other in remembering this.

A Few Reminders as we Return to Curling:

  1. We will be following Curling Canada/CurlOn General Rules of play, allowing for full sweeping from end to end.  Regular rules of play to start the season.

  2. It is time to check your grippers and brush heads to ensure they are in good condition. If not, visit the Tam Pro Shop for a variety of grippers and brush heads.

  3. Please keep your hands and knees off the ice, these marks affect the quality of the ice, take considerable time to fix and impacts the next curling draw.

Club Information

Tam Heather, or the “Tam” as we call it, is an active friendly club located in the Morningside and 401 community of Scarborough. Tam Heather opened in 1973 as a curling club with eight sheets of ice, then two years later in 1975, the club expanded by adding five tennis courts, three of which were covered in the winter with a bubble. Thirty four years later, in 2009, a four court year-round covered structure was built.
