{slider title="Who is responsible for ensuring members comply with the rules?" class="icon"}

These new rules and policies are in place for the safety of everyone. We expect that members will take it upon themselves to do what they can to ensure they and their team are in compliance with the rules.

Tam staff have the authority to ask a participant to leave the premises if that participant neglects to follow the rules, but we expect a certain amount of personal responsibility on the part of the members to follow the rules and to make others aware of infractions, if necessary.

A person who purposefully disregards the rules may have their membership privileges revoked.for the remainder of season without refund and have their membership application declined in future seasons.

Club Information

Tam Heather, or the “Tam” as we call it, is an active friendly club located in the Morningside and 401 community of Scarborough. Tam Heather opened in 1973 as a curling club with eight sheets of ice, then two years later in 1975, the club expanded by adding five tennis courts, three of which were covered in the winter with a bubble. Thirty four years later, in 2009, a four court year-round covered structure was built.
