    Tennis at Tam Heather


    Tam Heather has a state-of-the-art year round indoor tennis facility. It is located just south of the 401 at Morningside Road and Military Trail in Scarborough. It features four hard courts in a newly constructed climate controlled bubble, equipped with shadow-less non-glare lighting. The well maintained courts are spacious with bleachers for viewing. Tam Heather offers hassle-free court reservations at affordable prices. Our spectacular year round tennis facility is unsurpassed in its design, convenience, security and amenities. It is truly a magnificent facility that caters to the entire family.

    Non-Members Court Rental

    Winter non-members : Mon. to Sun. 7:00am to 11:00pm, the cost of renting one tennis court is $23.00 (+HST) per hour plus a $10.00 (+HST) flat charge for each player

    Summer non-members: Mon. to Sun. 7:00am to 11:00pm, the cost of renting one tennis court is $15.00 (+HST) per hour. Maximum of 2 hours per day.

    Professional Coaching

    The professional coaching staff directed by Lionel Eli, are all highly certified with many years of coaching experience. We offer private, semi private, group lessons, beginner clinics, round robins and a variety of daytime and evening leagues for adults as well as juniors. We encourage our competitive players to participate in local as well as international tournaments. For our future stars, we offer progressive tennis / quick start (ages 4 and up), winter and summer camps. In the past 10 years, 20 of our highly ranked juniors have received full tennis scholarships to accredited U.S. universities. Our professionals can help you reach your tennis goals. Our coaching staff did not invent tennis, they just refine it.

    The Tennis Academy at Tam Heather

    Lionel Eli is the owner / operator of the Tennis Academy at Tam Heather. Lionel has been coaching children and adults for over 20 years. Lionel holds a CTA3 (level 4 candidate) and a USPTA Professional Certification. Lionel has played in the Davis Cup for his native country, Barbados, and has also coached/captained the Davis Cup and Federation Cup teams for that country.

    Many of Lionel's students in the High Performance category have earned tennis scholarships in the US, and have gained National and International rankings in their age groups.
