Block Booking Lottery

We are delighted to announce the date for the Block Booking Lottery! The draw will take place on Thursday, June 27th, and we have 6 two-hour block bookings available for the upcoming winter season.

To participate, please fill out your application on the Tam Heather website. Successful applicants will be contacted by phone if they are among the lucky six to be awarded a Block Booking.

Below, you will find the guidelines for Block Booking:

Availability

• The office and Tennis Director will determine all available days and times for block bookings.
• Ownership will be determined through a lottery system.
• Block bookings are valid for one winter season ONLY - October 1 to April 30, allocated through the lottery.
• All block bookings from previous years will conclude at the end of the membership year. (April 30th)

Available Two Hour Time Slots

• Monday –  6:00am – 8:00am, 9:00pm – 11:00pm
• Tuesday –  6:00am – 8:00am
• Wednesday –  7:00am – 9:00am
• Thursday –  7:00am – 9:00am, 9:00pm – 11:00pm
• Friday -  7:00am – 9:00am
• Saturday -  6:00am – 8:00am, 9:00am – 11:00am, 8:00pm – 10:00pm
• Sunday –  6:00am – 8:00am, 10:00am – 12:00pm, 8:00pm – 10:00pm

Length and Number of Courts

• Each block booking is limited to one court for a maximum duration of two hours per session.

Block Booking Administration Fee

• There is a one-time administration fee of $35.00 + HST per block booking, per season.

General Rules of a Block Booking

• Block booking time slots are available exclusively during the winter season, from October 1st to April 30th.
• The Tam Heather Office must be notified of all players included in the block booking.
• Members can participate in only ONE block booking per season.
• Block booking entails a prepaid court rental, with charges deducted from participants' accounts at the start of the season, according to the provided schedule for the full season.
• Charges for block booking court fees will be equally divided among all participants.
• Block booking payments are non-refundable. In the event of hazardous weather conditions, a makeup game time slot will be offered (notification to the office is required).
• If you need to bring a guest to substitute for a scheduled player, please inform the office beforehand. A guest fee charge will be applicable.

Each group is allowed one lottery entry only. Duplicate group entries will be removed prior to the draw
